American Thanksgiving Day began with Justin and the kids and I joining Justin's brother Mike, along with his family, in handing out turkey dinners in a retirement home.
We were happy to join the Morey crew in this yearly tradition of theirs, and all the kids were thrilled at the opportunity to travel up and down in the elevator countless times in the span of an hour.
After delivering meals, a bunch of us headed over to a nearby football field to play.
By late afternoon, this side of the family gathered around for turkey and the trimmings.
